The Council of the Village of Antwerp passed Resolution 2025-18 on October 8, 2025, entitled “A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FISCAL OFFICER OF THE VILLAGE OF ANTWERP, OHIO TO AMEND APPROPRIATIONS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.”  This resolution authorizes the fiscal officer to amend the appropriations for the 2025 fiscal year.

The Council of the Village of Antwerp passed Ordinance 2025-16 on October 8, 2025, entitled “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.04 OF THE VILLAGE OF ANTWERP PERSONNEL MANUAL TO PROVIDE VILLAGE EMPLOYEES REIMBURSEMENT FOR MEDICARE PART B PREMIUMS IN LIEU OF ENROLLMENT IN THE VILLAGE HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN AND DECLARING THE SAME AN EMERGENCY”.  This ordinance amends the personnel manual to establish a Health Reimbursement Account for village employees who have reached the age of 65 and are eligible for Medicare to accept the Medicare coverage in lieu of the village health insurance plan and to receive reimbursement for medical expenses including health care coverage up to an annual maximum set by council.

The Council of the Village of Antwerp passed Ordinance 2025-17 on October 8, 2025, entitled “AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE VILLAGE OF ANTWERP TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR THE SUPPLY OF ELECTRICITY TO VILLAGE OWNED BUILDINGS, STREETLIGHTS, AND WELLS WITH DIRECT ENERGY BUSINESS LLC/NGR BUSINESS_FOR A TERM OF 24 MONTHS COMMENCING ON NOVEMBER 1, 2025; AND DECLARING THE SAME AN EMERGENCY”.  This ordinance authorizes the mayor to sign an agreement for electric supply rates for the next 24 months for the Village of Antwerp.
