ODOT Update State Route 49

St. Rt. 49 Resurfacing Update

July 14, 2025

The demolition at 408 S. Main Street will begin late this week. 

Starting July 24^th, ODOT will begin the resurfacing project from North of Antwerp to Hicksville with completion projected for August 24^th.

Beginning August 24^th, ODOT will begin the resurfacing from Payne to ST. RT. 24.  Completion is projected for September 24^th.

Beginning September 24^th, ODOT will begin resurfacing from ST. RT. 24 through Antwerp to the north end where they stopped with the Hicksville portion.

Be advised there will be limited local traffic permitted.  There will be no truck traffic permitted, so alternate routes will be marked by ODOT.
